Detectamet is the brand name
developed by Detectamet (Formerly E-Components & Chains Ltd) , a youthful and
innovative company, with enthusiasm and foresight in abundance.
Our key focus is the design and manufacture of metal detectable
products, particularly in the Food Industries.
"We pride
ourselves in offering what we believe is a service second to
none to the global market, coupled with our commitment to
quality and innovation in design. All of these factors ensure
you benefit with greater enhanced productivity at minimal cost
to yourselves."
The
business was first established in 2003, predominantly as an
Engineering component supplier to original
equipment manufacturers and end users.
The first customers were Rockware
Glass in Knottingley UK and Britvic Drinks in Leeds UK. During
the first few years, the company worked increasingly for major
food and beverage manufacturers supplying products such as
conveyor components, wearstrips and feedscrolls.
This type of work and our
knowledge of specialist plastics used in engineering
applications for the Food/Pharmaceutical and Beverage Industries
led us into the area of HACCP and the ongoing problems faced by
manufacturers to avoid product contamination. The concept of
using metal detectable materials, particularly in an engineering
capacity led us to develop the range of products now famously
known as DETECTAMET.
More recently the company has begun to work closely with
distributors who have shown a great interest in the brand of
Detectamet products, Hygiene and Medical supplies and the PPE
equipment which is manufactured by the sister company CK
European Safety Equipment Limited.
The acquisition CK European Safety Equipment Limited was
completed in May 2009 - C K is the highly acclaimed manufacturer
of the Detectaglove and Sonar Metal Detectable Earplugs. We now
supply throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia our
full range of products.
Detectamet also
designs bespoke/applications products from its increasing
range of specialist materials.
Product launches are scheduled through out
the coming year Request notification of product launches.
