Respirator Filters and Cartridges. CK cartridges come complete with a new screw insert and inhalation valve diaphragm.

Respirator filters & cartridges are designed to ensure optimum performance & protection for your lungs from harmful & non-harmful airborne particles, fumes & gases. The NEW CK European Safety range has 2 series of cartridges to complement its own brand of Half Mask Single and Twin Respirators.
Once you have chosen the most suitable mask for your requirements we can supply replacement and alternative cartridges where applicable.

You will need protection from:

Dusts - Are produced when solid materials are broken down into finer particles, the longer the dust remains=2 0in the air the easier it is to inhale. In general the smaller the dust particle the greater the hazard it presents

Mists - Are tiny liquid droplets formed by atomization and condensation processes such as spraying. Mists are often combinations of several hazardous ingredients;

Metal Fumes - Can occur when metals are vaporized under high heat. The vapors are cooled quickly and condense into very fine particles that float in the air. Many processes form fume such as smelting, pouring metals and many welding applications;

Gases - These are airborne at room temperature. Able to diffuse or spread freely, can travel very far very quickly.

Vapours - Are gaseous state of substances that are liquids or solids at room temperature. Formed when substances evaporate in the way water vapours evaporates from water

What do I need to do?

Identify the Hazards - dust, metal fume, gas, vapours. You will need to have a comprehensive risk assessment done with a written report - this should be done with the help of a Health and Safety Consultant

Select the required Safety Respirator - disposable safety dust mask, half mask, full face mask, powered respirator, airfed respirator

Ensure employees are trained in the fitting and use of their Respir atory Protection this is called  Fit Testing -

see our section on respirators

Every Dust Mask in our range conforms to EN149 2001 and offers protection against dusts and particles.

Our cartridge selection conforms to EN 141 - gases & vapours & EN 143 - Dust
