The basic criteria for a knife
or cutter to be included in the
Detectamet range of metal
detectable safety cutters will
meet with the following:
A
genuine safety knife with a
safety index of 4 or less(1 =
bladeless, 2 = enclosed blade,3
= fully automatic blade
retraction, 4 = semi automatic
blade retraction, 5 = manual
blade retraction)
A
knife which has a low risk of
breaking into fragments with min
parts
Visually detectable BLUE COLOUR
as standard
All plastic components made from
metal detectable plastic (please
see How Detectable Are We?)
